    مادران یا پدران کودکانی که افسردگی پس از زایمان درمان نشده دارند، بیشتر
    دچار مشکلات عاطفی و رفتاری مانند مشکلات
    خواب، غذا، گریه و تأخیر در تکلم
    می‌شوند. همان طور که در جدول 1 مشاهده می­شود، افسردگی در گروه سنی زیر 18 سال تفاوت معنی­دار
    با سایر گروه­های سنی دارد.
    کودکان مادرانی که افسردگی بعد از زایمان درمان نشده دارند بیشتر
    در خطر مشکلات احساسی و رفتاری، ازجمله مشکلات خوردن
    و خوابیدن، گریه‌های بیش از حد و تاخیر در تکامل
    صحبتی، هستند. درمان سایکوز پس از زایمان
    به علت جدایی بین مادر و کودک و مصرف داروهایی
    که برای نوزاد می‌توانند مضر باشند، ممکن است مانع از شیردهی به نوزاد شود، بنابراین بیمار برای روبرویی با این چالش به کمک درمانگر نیاز دارد.

    از آن‌جایی که پاها پایین‌ترین بخش از بدن هستند، افراد سلطه‌جو از توجه‌شدن به پاهایشان لذت می‌برند.
    در این حالت حس برتری فرد
    و تحقیر طرف مقابل به حداکثر خود می‌رسد و به صورت کلی برای فرد سلطه‌جو لذت‌بخش است.
    افراد بزرگسالی که از نظر جنسی فعال هستند،
    ممکن است در طول زندگی به صورت موردی دچار یک
    نوع فتیش بشوند، اما چون این نوع
    تمایل‌ها همراه با پریشانی ذهنی نیستند به عنوان اختلال محسوب نمی‌شوند.

    بیشتر افراد دارای فتیش، تشخیص اختلال فتیشیسم را دریافت نمی کنند.

    در واقع مجموعه ای از علائم، نشانه ها و ویژگی ها باید
    وجود داشته باشد که بهزیستی و
    رفاه فرد، عملکرد در زندگی روزمره
    را تحت تاثیر منفی قرار دهد تا فرد تشخیص
    اختلال فتیش را دریافت کند. در این تعریف گسترده تر، فتیش، ویژگی های بدنی (مانند چاقی)، اشیا، موقعیت ها
    و فعالیت ها (مانند BDSM) را هم در بر می گیرد.
    پارافیلیاها یا انحرافات جنسی مانند فتیش ادرار، مدفوع و مرده نیز به عنوان
    فتیش شناخته می شوند. بسیاری از افرادی
    که جذب پاها می شوند ممکن است علاقه خاصی به کفش ها، جواهرآلات و سایر زینت های
    پا داشته باشند. آنها می خواهند دید بدون مانعی از کل پا از بالا تا پایین داشته باشند.

    کند. نظریه های زیادی در مورد چگونگی و چرایی ایجاد اختلال فتیشیستی وجود دارد، حتی اگر
    هیچ دلیل اثبات شده ای برای آن ها
    وجود نداشته باشد. برخی شواهد
    نشان می دهد که سطح سروتونین در مغز در افراد مبتلا به
    اختلالات پارافیلیک گاهی اوقات بیشتر از سایر

    نوعی فتیش محسوب می‌شود.

    یکی از دلایل اصلی اختلال فتیش جنسی
    می تواند تجربه ای تحریک کننده با جسم بی جان در دوران کودکی
    فرد باشد.
    بنابراین نمی توان بطور دقیق دریافت که به چه دلیل بعضی با دیدن پاها تحریک
    میشوند و ریشه این مسئله چیست.
